What can I tell Apple about my SOAKED iPod Touch 4g!!?

I went to the gym and put my iPod in my gym bag with a bottle of Gatorade and the Gatorade spilled in the bag. It was just a little, but my iPod got soaked. I just recently bought my iPod, probably like a month ago. I'm not sure if it comes with a warranty or not, but I bought it online from the Apple store and got the engraving and everything. WIll the warranty (if I have one) cover this? If not, can I dry it really good and send it in? Would they find out? What would they do, replace it? Also, my iPod is Jailbroken so will that effect the warranty if I just restore it? Please answer and give me some advice!
