Poll: should i do it or not?

im in love this girl named megan. were not going out but i think she likes me. this weekend is her birthday so to show her that love her i was going to buy her a pink heart shaped necklace (pink is her favorite color) and get her name engraved on it. but when she opens it i want some kind of song playing but i have no idea what song to play. i want to ask her out and tell her i love her after i give it to her ,too. do you think this too over the top because were not dating or do you think i should do it? ill take anyother suggestions as well.
