Can a believer in 'God" also possess critical thinking skills?

Some people follow religion for the traditions associated, or out of family obligation. Some simply don't apply critical thinking to that part of their lives because they need something in their lives to be mysterious. Still others believe that it is impossible for mere humans to understand their deity, so they don't even ask any questions at all.
