Question about swiss army knives?

I'm looking at buying an engraved swiss army knife for father's day and I heard really good things about the SwissChamp. Would you say it's too big to fit in an average-sized pocket? If so, I was thinking about getting it with a pouch. Do you recommend any other knives?
